Lucy Electric Asia Pacific Run for Protector Charity 2018
Lucy Electric Asia Pacific (LAP) management and staff, took part in a 5km night run, for the Protector Charity in 2018.
The run aims to raise awareness of the need to prevent child sexual abuse and promote the well-being of our children.
Protector and Save The Children began in April 1999 to provide a voice for sexually abused children. It works towards a world that upholds the rights and dignity of every child. The vision is to build safer communities where children are protected from exploitation. Save The Children aims to achieve this by advocating and establishing effective prevention education for both adults and children, strengthening treatment and support services, while forging partnerships within communities.
The LAP staff all completed the 5k run,raising money and awareness of this serious issue. It was also a great team building exercise and they were very pleased to run together to support such a good cause.
