Lucy Zodion Relocates Pillar Business to Milton Keynes
Following sustained growth in its pre-wired pillar business, Lucy Zodion has announced the relocation of feeder pillar manufacturing to a dedicated facility in Milton Keynes. The new, larger premises provides the West Yorkshire based street-lighting specialist with additional capacity to expand its product portfolio and further move towards its strategic objective of entering new market sectors.
The new 6,700 sq. ft facility is based at Unit 24 Granby Industrial Park, Peverel Drive, Granby, Milton Keynes MK1 1NW, and will house the growing pre-wired pillar team. With enhanced links to a wider selection of local suppliers allowing shorter pillar build lead times to be achieved, the move is set to benefit Lucy Zodion’s growing customer base. The move will also provide the state-of-the-art street lighting equipment manufacturer with more flexible production, storage and office space.
John Fox, Managing Director at Lucy Zodion commented: “The pre-wired pillars business unit has experienced significant growth over the last 12 months. We have some exciting market sectors to explore and now have the facilities to back up the increasing sales”.
He added: “We have built a great team whilst based at Thame and by moving to Milton Keynes feel that they can now react to any customer requirements, however large or specialist”.
