Lucy Group Takes Part in Oxford Open Doors
This year Lucy Group’s office in the Eagle Works, Oxford, UK, is again participating in Oxford Open Doors – a free annual festival organised by Oxford Preservation Trust in partnership with Oxford University – that celebrates the city’s places, space and people.
On Saturday 9th September 2018, between 10am and 4pm, visitors are welcome to enjoy the canal-side piazza on the site of Lucy’s Foundry, as well as a photographic exhibition and display of archive material on W Lucy and Co Ltd. (the previous name for Lucy Group Ltd.) The company has been based in Oxford for over 200 years.
The exhibition has been well-received in previous years, with numerous visitors a day taking the opportunity to come and see us. If you are in the area on Saturday, make sure you visit to view this fascinating snapshot of the company’s past.
