Lucy Group retains its Carbon Reduce Certification
Earlier this year, Lucy Group successfully retained its Carbon Reduce Certification after a thorough audit conducted by Achilles. This certification, aligned with the ISO 14064 Part 1: 2018 standard, confirms that we have accurately measured our greenhouse gas emissions and reinforces our commitment to sustainability. Notably, this year also marks the first time that Flashnet and Lawson Fuses UK & India have been certified within the group.
At Lucy Group, we recognise the critical importance of sustainable operations. Retaining this certification not only highlights our commitment to reducing our emissions but also demonstrates to our stakeholders that we are actively taking steps to protect our planet.
As we move through 2024, we remain focused on achieving our environmental goals. Our key targets for this year and beyond include:
- Reducing emissions by 12.6% in 2024 compared to our 2021 baseline.
- Achieving a 35% reduction in emissions by 2031 from our 2021 baseline.
- Decreasing mains electricity and gas consumption by 5% in 2024 compared to our 2023 data.
