The Lucy Electric South Africa (LESA) team is pleased to have been part of the efforts to make a difference in the lives of children at The Outreach Foundation Duvelente. Duvelente is a safe haven for children who have been abandoned by their parents or born into challenging circumstances due to drug and alcohol abuse. Established in 2009 in response to local poverty, unemployment, and housing shortages, Duvelente has long relied on donations to support its mission.
Duvelente provides a sense of home and serves a parental role for these children, imparting essential values and morals. Children enter the institution from birth and remain until they reach the age of 18, at which point they are presumed to have completed their secondary education, making them well-prepared for further studies or employment.
LESA is honoured to be part of this initiative and to contribute to the Foundation’s needs via donations of essential goods, helping to provide a better future for needy children.
